BLACK HISTORY BREAKFAST TO FEATURE PRAIRIE VIEW SPEAKER

  

The Interim Executive Director for Student Engagement at Prairie View A&M, Charles H. Lewter IV, will be the keynote speaker at the 30th annual Black History Breakfast, this morning (Saturday).

Lewter also serves as Dean of Chapel at Prairie View.

Lewter, a native of Manhattan, N.Y., graduated from Morehouse School of Religion in Atlanta, Ga., and received a master of divinity degree in Christian education.

During his tenure, Lewter is credited with having initiated many ministries that have enhanced and promoted spiritual growth among students, faculty and staff at Prairie View.

Lewter received the Outstanding Service Award in his division, and has received the dean and male administrator of the year award several times.

The breakfast, sponsored by the Brenham Activist Association, will be held in the Blinn College Student Center, this morning (Saturday) at 8 a.m. with the program beginning at 9 a.m.
