BLINN BOARD AUTHORIZES HEALTH SCIENCE SPACE AT RELLIS CAMPUS

The Blinn College Board of Trustees has authorized an agreement to provide instructional space for Blinn health science students at Texas A&M’s RELLIS Campus.

The board has authorized College officials to negotiate with A&M regarding an agreement on a 30-year term for 16,370 square feet of space in the RELLIS Academic Complex.

Blinn’s Division of Health Sciences, currently based in the A&M Health Science Center Clinical Building, includes programs in associate degree nursing, emergency medical services, fire science, health information technology, physical therapist assistant, radiologic technology, surgical technology, and vocational nursing.

Blinn’s Dental Hygiene Program, also a member of the Division of Health Sciences, is based at the College’s Post Office Campus in Bryan.

In Fall 2018, Blinn will be expanding to its academic facility at the RELLIS Campus to allow Blinn students to complete their four-year degrees from Texas A&M System regional universities onsite.
