BLINN BOARD TO ACCEPT MILLER RESIGNATION AT TUESDAY MEETING

 The resignation and acceptance of the resignation of Carolyn D Miller will be on the agenda of the Blinn College Board of Trustees when they meet tomorrow night.

Miller resigned on Friday after serving on the Board since 2011, and served as chair of the Audit/Budget/Investment Committee, and served on the Policy/Long-Range Planning Committee.

The Board will also consider awarding a contract to Dudley Construction for $143,500 for an Accessibility Compliance Project on the Brenham campus, and possibly authorize the Administrators to spend an additional $300,000 on the construction Improvements for the Proposed 2015 Bryan Campus Renovation Project.

Also up for consideration is the use of Contingency Funds to purchase Parking Management and Enforcement System Software Equipment.

The Board of Trustees will meet Tuesday evening at 6:30pm on the third floor of the Administrative Building on the Blinn-Brenham Campus.

    1. KWHI has made repeated attempts to contact Carolyn Miller and ask her the reason for resigning from the Blinn Board of Trustees. None of our phone calls have been returned. I don’t want to speculate about why Ms. Miller resigned. As an elected official, I do believe she owes an explanation to Washington County voters.
