BLINN BOARD TO DISCUSS RELLIS CONSTRUCTION

  

The Blinn Board of Trustees will meet on Tuesday to move forward with construction of the RELLIS Campus.

The Board of Trustees will discuss awarding a contract to J.T. Vaugh Construction, LLC for the construction of Phase 1 improvements on the RELLIS campus.

The Texas A&M University System invited Blinn College to build facilities at the RELLIS Campus, formerly Riverside campus, that would allow the community college to enter into innovative partnerships with the universities of the Texas A&M System. The groundbreaking for the RELLIS campus is set to take place on September 26th.

The Board will also discuss a variety of improvement projects for Blinn College’s Bryan campus. The Board is expected to approve a contract with Dudley Construction, Ltd. for landscaping improvements to the Bryan Campus. The Board will discuss seeking bids for the Briar Creek dredging and Detention Pond restoration projects in Bryan.

The Blinn Board of Trustees is set to meet on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Board Room on the third floor of the Administration Building at Blinn College- Brenham campus.
