BLINN CLAY SHOOTOUT HAPPENING TODAY

  

The 3rd annual Blinn College Clay Shootout is happening today (Friday) at the Boswell Porter 4-H Shotgun Range in Caldwell.

The money raised from the event will go towards academic scholarships and athletic equipment.

Dr. Kyle Merten, Alumni Relations Director, says they are planning on having record attendance this year.

"We are hoping to meet our goal of raising $60,000" said Merten. "It's just a really good community outreach event  for us and a great way the community gets behind Blinn College."

There will be 8:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. flights.

Merten says members of the community are invited to come and enjoy the food and fun. For non-shooters, there will be unlimited food and drink for $20:
