BLINN COLLEGE BOARD MEETS MONDAY

  

The Blinn College Board of Trustees will swear in their newest member during their meeting next Monday.  Jason Jennings was appointed to the Blinn College board by the Brazos County Commissioners Court.  Jennings is one of two board members nominated by the Brazos County Commissioners as part of legislation passed in 2015.  He currently is the President of Baylor Scott & White – College Station Region.  Jennings fills the seat vacated by Tammy Spohn, who accepted a job in Oregon.

Also on the agenda for Monday’s meeting, trustees are expected to award the purchase of soft cost items for the new RELLIS Campus and authorize Chancellor Mary Hensley to negotiate and award the contract for Food Service Equipment for the Student Center in Brenham.

The Blinn Board of Trustees meets Monday at 12:00 noon on the third floor of the Administration Building.
