BLINN COLLEGE TO RECEIVE GRANT FROM TEXAS WORKFORCE COMMISSION

  

The Texas Workforce Commission will award Blinn College a $395,723 grant to provide an array of training programs for more than 200 employees at Tempur Sealy International, Inc. in Brenham.

The announcement and ceremonial check signing will take place on Wednesday, July 29th at 11am at the A.W. Hodde, Jr. Technical Education Center at 2901 South Blue Bell Road in Brenham.

  1. Without any more detail than provided, this article seems to imply that Texas taxpayers are paying for Tempur-Sealy to train its own employees..?
