BLINN EXPANDS COURSE OFFERINGS FOR FALL 2015

Blinn College has opened a slate of new course sections for high-demand subjects in an effort to meet growing student demand for the coming Fall semester. New course sections are now available in mathematics, biology, history, government, speech, psychology, chemistry and English. Students can review the updated list of course sections here or by clicking the “Fall Course Search” link at www.blinn.edu.

The College is also starting a new customized service to assist enrolled students seeking to register for fully-enrolled course sections. Beginning today, students can complete an online form that alerts the College to the ongoing course demand.

Find out more by visiting www.blinn.edu and clicking on the link for High Demand Courses Available Now. A College administrator will review and respond to the student’s request and attempt to place them in the requested course.

Students can register for the Fall semester through Aug. 30 with classes beginning Aug. 31.

Blinn’s academic transfer rate regularly ranks among the highest in the nation and is approximately 20 percent higher than the state average. Out-of-district students who take 30 credit hours at Blinn in 2015-16 will save approximately $3,500 in tuition and fees compared to the average Texas public university (40.2 percent).

Blinn’s Brenham campus combines the excitement of a traditional college experience with Brenham’s inviting atmosphere. In addition to being the only campus to offer on-campus housing for students, the Brenham campus is home to Blinn’s music, theatre, agriculture and athletic programs. The Brenham campus experience is further enhanced by the student activities and student life programs that offer students the opportunity to explore, learn and develop outside of the classroom.

Located just minutes from Texas A&M University, the Bryan campus offers a personalized education with all the benefits of being located in a large college town, while the Schulenburg and Sealy campuses bring Blinn’s strong academic programs to rural Texans while providing a comfortable, small-town campus environment.

Blinn’s Distance Learning Program allows students the opportunity to enroll in fully online courses or blended courses, which utilize a combination of face-to-face and online instruction.
