BLINN HOSTS AG MECHANICS SHOW TODAY

Students were busy this morning (Wednesday) polishing up their projects at Blinn’s Rankin Agricultural Complex.  Over 500 students from across the state will be showing their projects at the 15th annual Agricultural Mechanics Show.  The event is now the 4th largest in the state, only behind Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio.  Blinn Ag professor and event organizer Johnnie Schroeder tells us about the show:

The show features projects developed and designed by students in high school FFA chapters and county 4-H clubs. The Ag projects are judged on quality and showmanship.  Winners in each category will be awarded a Blinn Scholarship.

The public is invited to come view the projects.  Because the show has now grown to cover the entire Rankin Agricultural Complex, parking for the public will be available at the Blinn Student Center.  A shuttle bus will be available to move visitors between the Student Center and the Ag Center.
