BLINN INDUCTS 85 STUDENTS INTO INTERNATIONAL MATH HONOR SOCIETY

  

The Blinn College – Brenham campus chapter of the Mu Alpha Theta national math society recently inducted 85 new members during its 24th annual induction ceremony.

Thirty-seven current Blinn students and 48 students from area high schools were inducted. Students are invited based on their math and overall grade point averages (GPA).

Mu Alpha Theta has more than 99,000 members across 2,000 schools nationwide, and fosters interest in math by publicly recognizing superior mathematical scholarship and promoting mathematical activities.

From Blinn College – Paige Adams, Rodrigo Aguirre, Mikaela Berger, Rose Booth, Brittney Boyd, Mallory Bruns, Dylan Butler, Peerapa Chansomboon, Dale Cooper, Sarah Dill, Jashara Earthman, Michael Florer, Ernest Ekwain Fon, Audry Garcia, Valorie Garza, Ashly Heimdal, Kelsey Howell, Alayna James, Zoe Jenkins, Karley Kasmiersky, Ty Kasper, Tristan Lawrence, Chris Lenz, Rebekah McCurry, Jonathan McGee, Leon Miles III, Courtney Nevels, Toan Nguyen, Jon Novosad, Victoria Okosun, Brittany Polosak, Carrina Ramirez, Kelly Rojas, Leanne Schultz, Janet Sheelar, Mason Simmons and Jordan Slovak.

From Brenham Christian Academy – Connor Saye, Hannah Horne, Michael Horne, Bailee Martinez, Linsey Meier, Tatiana Pate, Tommy Rogers, Preston Smith and Diana Taylor.

  1. This is good news! So wonderfful to hear of these bright students who will no doubt achieve much with their education. How many of the Blinn students were from our Brenham campus? This would be nice news to share with the county that created Blinn.
