BLINN MINIMESTERS

  

It would appear that Blinn College will be out for summer in a matter of a week or so, but the College’s public information officer, Rich Bray says, ‘not really.’

He says students looking to get a head start on the next school year, and get even closer to their college degree can take park in the ‘minimesters’ being offered in between the spring semester and the first summer session.

 

The minimester runs from May 12th through the 28th and registration is available through May 11th.  Students can study American Government, Texas Government, Medical terminology,, U.S. History I and II, Texas History, Foundation Kinesiology, Personal Health, Introductory Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, Social Sciences, Math Analysis, Statistics, Music Appreciation, introduction to Philosophy and many other courses.

Last May, the College set a nw enrollment mark with 1372 students taking minimester  courses.  Registration is also available for the two summer sessions, and the fall semester through five pm, May first.
