BLINN NAMES 90 STUDENT-ATHLETES TO SPRING HONOR ROLL
Ninety Blinn College student-athletes were named to the Spring 2014 Don Wilhelm Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
The honor roll is named after former Blinn Athletic Director Don Wilhelm, who served the College for 10 years and is an NJCAA Hall of Famer. To be eligible, students must complete 12 transferable credit hours with at least a 3.0 grade point average (GPA).
Of those named, 11 received a perfect 4.0 GPA, including baseball’s Seth Ballew and Hunter Lehman; football’s Jacob Warner; volleyball’s Dylan Dean and Katelyn Kyle; softball’s Allison Artz, Sarah Mason, Grace McLeod and Avery Mullendore; and cheer’s Mia Garcia.
“I am thrilled for all of our student-athletes who have been recognized for their academic success,” Blinn Athletic Director Scott Schumacher said. “Their hard work and dedication both in the classroom and in their sport truly exemplifies the meaning of a student-athlete.”
