BLINN OPENS REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER COURSES

Blinn College has opened registration for its Summer I and Summer II courses on all campuses.

The Summer I semester runs June 4 – July 2, while the Summer II semester runs July 7 – August 4. Students can register up until the day classes begin. Courses will be offered on Blinn’s Bryan, Brenham, Schulenburg and Sealy courses, as well as online. Students can register until the day classes begin.

Registration remains open through May 17 for Blinn’s May Minimester, which runs May 18 – June 3 on the College’s Brenham and Bryan campuses and online

Fall semester registration opens April 20 for current Blinn students and opens April 27 for new students.

Blinn has earned a statewide reputation for academic quality and affordability. Its academic transfer rate regularly ranks among the highest in the nation and is approximately 20 percent higher than the state average. Out-of-district students who take 30 credit hours at Blinn in 2014-15 will save approximately $4,000 in tuition compared to the average Texas public university (48.8 percent).

Blinn’s Brenham campus combines the excitement of a traditional college experience with Brenham’s inviting atmosphere. In addition to being the only campus to offer on-campus housing for students, the Brenham campus is home to Blinn’s music, theatre, agriculture and athletic programs. The Brenham campus experience is further enhanced by the student activities and student life programs that offer students the opportunity to explore, learn and develop outside of the classroom.

Located just minutes from Texas A&M University, the Bryan campus offers a personalized education with all the benefits of being located in a large college town, while the Schulenburg and Sealy campuses bring Blinn’s strong academic programs to rural Texans while providing a comfortable, small-town campus environment.

Blinn’s Distance Learning Program allows students the opportunity to enroll in fully online courses or blended courses, which utilize a combination of face-to-face and online instruction.
