BLINN RECOGNIZES SCHOLARSHIPS

  

Blinn College is recognizing 11 new endowed scholarships amounting to $180,000 that have been established in the past year at the Brenham Campus.

Including those created during the past year, the Blinn College Foundation has established 220 scholarships totaling almost $14 million.

The 11 endowed scholarships include the Ben W. Boehnke Memorial Scholarship, the Brenham Cubs Baseball Alumni Scholarship, Beatrice Bednar Donisi Memorial Scholarship, Sam Duree Scholarship, Steven and Ruth Noack Vocational Nursing Scholarship, A Melton Schoenvogel Scholarship, C. Walter ‘Walt’ Schoenvogel Jr., Scholarship, Keith and Elizabeth  Twiggs Scholarship, Oliver Wagner/ Graham Masonic Lodge Scholarship, and the Warren Masonic Lodge #56 Scholarship.

The Blinn College Foundation supports programs and activities that enhance the quality of education for Blinn College Students, and expand the educational opportunities for the entire community.  Since its inception in 2000, the Foundation has raised more than $13 million for Blinn.  Those funds have been used to help launch major construction projects across Blinn’s campuses, including the A.W. Hodde Jr., Technical Education Center, the J. Hal and Allyne Machat Music Facility and the Bill Rankin Agriculture Center.
