BLINN SBDC TO OFFER BASIC QUICKBOOKS COURSE
The Blinn College Small Business Development Center is hosting a basic QuickBooks course, for small business owners to get the most out of their desktop accounting software.
The course will take place Monday, July 10, and is specifically designed to provide hands-on experience for QuickBooks desktop version users.
Topics include setting up records, invoices, deposits and checks, accounts payable and receivable, bank and credit card account reconciliation, and running reports. Each attendee will have a desktop computer to use during the course and be provided reference materials to keep.
The workshop will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on July 10th, at the A.W. Hodde, Jr. Technical Education Center, 2910 S. Blue Bell Road. Registration is $100 per person and is available at www.blinn.edu/sbdc. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required.
The class will be taught by Julie Gilmer, CPA and certified QuickBooks advisor.
