BLINN TEAMS HONORED FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
Three Blinn College athletic teams have received honorable mention on the NJCAA’s annual Academic Teams of the Year.
The women’s volleyball team produced a GPA of 3.1 based on a 4.0 average.
The women’s softball and men’s baseball team finished with grade point averages of 3.01 and 3.0 respectively to earn honorable mention awards.
A total of 25 teams — 12 men’s and 13 women’s — were honored for accumulating the highest grade point average in their respective sport while meeting the minimum 3.0 requirement.
