BLUE BELL AQUATIC CENTER RECEIVES SAFETY AWARD

  

The Blue Bell Aquatic Center recently received the “Safety Program of the Year Award” from the Texas Public Pool Council.

The award is given to the agency that best demonstrates a significant impact on the youth and families of their local community through water safety education and for the successful implementation of innovative programming.

The Aquatic Center was recognized for their outstanding programming for Water Safety, Camp Cascade, private swim lessons, CPR certification and most importantly- lifeguard training.

In addition to the Texas Public Pool Council's recognition of safety at the BBAC, the lifeguards have previously been recognized by the Red Cross for their lifesaving skills.

The Blue Bell Aquatic Team was recognized by Mayor Milton Tate and city council members during Thursday’s meeting.
