BLUE BELL CHOOSES “EXTRA” WINNER

  

Blue Bell Creameries has chosen the winner of its “be an extra in a commercial contest.”

Kevin Cangelosi of the Dallas/Fort Worth area had the winning video submission in the contest.

In September, Blue Bell launched the “Lights. Camera. Action!” contest on its website asking people to submit a 20-second video explaining why they should be chosen for a role as an extra in an upcoming television commercial.

A panel of judges chose Cangelosi’s video based on its creativity and originality.

Cangelosi’s video features a rap song about Blue Bell.

Cangelosi said it was difficult fitting so much information into only 20 seconds. His complete video can be viewed at http://vimeo.com/107599491 

Carl Breed, director of marketing for Blue Bell says they received may creative and entertaining videos from across the country, and added that it was not easy choosing only one winner so three runners-up have also been recognized.

They will each receive a year’s supply of Blue Bell ice cream and their videos can also be viewed at bluebell.com.
