BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS TO HEAR DISCUSSION ON CODE VARIANCE REQUEST
The City of Brenham Board of Adjustments will meet conduct a public hearing and possibly act upon a request for a City of Brenham Code of Ordinances variance that prohibits spectacular signage in all zoning district.
This specifically refers to a request to allow spectacular LED signage at Calvary Baptist Church, located at 1100 Niebuhr Street. Calvary is asking to remove their current signage and replace it with an LED sign.
Also up for a public hearing is a request for a special exception to the City of Brenham Zoning Ordinance relating to parking requirements for 1900 290 West.

Do as I say, not as I do. Is this the slogan for city government in Brenham? Just go look at the Holt park sign. The city has their LED sign and now does not want anyone else to have one. Political hypocrisy plaques our city government.
