BODY DISCOVERED IN GRIMES CO.: POSSIBLE HOMICIDE
Authorities in Grimes County say they believe a body discovered near Bedais may be that of a Madisonville man, missing since June.
According to the Grimes County Sheriff's Office, the remains were found on private property off County Road 142, near Bedias, last Thursday, and are believed to be that of Jason Currie.
Captain Blake Jarvis says deputies are investigating the case as a possible homicide.
Jarvis says the Sheriff’s Office has persons of interest in this case, but no arrests have been made at this time.
The remains have been sent off to a lab for positive identification.
