District officials have issued a boil water notice that will remain in effect until further notice.
General Manager Michael Conway says they are in the process of isolating the facility failure. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, requires the system to notify all customers of any water outage and after that to boil the water prior to consumption. This is to ensure the destruction of harmful materials and harmful bacterial and other microbes. The water should be brought to a vigorous boil before consumption. You can also purchase bottled water.
