BOYS & GIRLS CLUB PRESENTS YOUTH OF THE YEAR COMPETITION
The Boys and Girls Club of Washington County is hosting the East Texas Youth of the Year Competition.
On Saturday, a panel of judges will select a Youth of the Year out of 7 participants who will then compete in regional and state competitions as well as he select a Junior Youth of the Year out of 7 participants.
Executive Director, Melissa McCune explains how these candidates were selected.
During the competition, the candidates will present a speech as well as answer interview questions. The competition begins at 8:30am and winners will be announced between 12:30pm and 1pm at the Boys and Girls Club of Washington County.
