BRANDON COOPER FEATURED IN PBS VIDEO

  

A Brenham High School graduate is being featured in a PBS role models video.  Brandon Cooper, who graduated from Brenham High School in 2006, is featured as a role model in a short PBS video that will air at random times during children’s programing.  Cooper now lives in Philadelphia, where he teaches second grade at Clymer Elementary, an inner-city school.  He has been a teacher there for five years, after completing his graduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania.

Cooper explains how PBS choose him for the segment:

 

The video features Cooper talking about what teaching elementary students’ means to him.  He says that he enjoys teaching, and explains what influenced him to pursue that profession:

 

Cooper says he visits Brenham several times each year to see family and friends.
