BRAZOS CO. MAN SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT OF A CHILD

A 52-year old Brazos County man has been sentenced to 27-years in prison on child sexual assault charges.
Billy Pace plead guilty to two counts of Sexual Assault of a Child and Indecency with a Child by Contact in District Court, Friday.
In January of 2016, a teenage family member told police that Pace had sexually assaulted her. Pace was arrested in November after police received the test results.
During the investigation, the victim told police that Pace had sexually assaulted her and touched her inappropriately on two other occaisions. Pace was charged with all three incidents.
This case was prosecuted by Kara Comte, the Crimes Against Children Prosecutor for the Brazos County District Attorney’s Office.
