BRAZOS VALLEY FAIR AND RODEO OPENS FRIDAY

  

County Fair time comes to the city of Bryan this week.

The 6th Annual Brazos Valley Fair and Rodeo begins a three-day run at the Brazos County Expo Complex in Bryan Friday.  Kevin Fowler is the headline entertainer Friday night, taking the stage at 9:45.  But before that, there’s a whole afternoon of fun beginning at 4 o’clock when the carnival opens.  Kids will enjoy the stick horse and pony hop races, kids hay hauling, magic been show, pirate parrot show, swifty swine races, mutton bustin’ and much more.  The CPRA/UPRA Rodeo gets started at 7:00 Friday night.

There’s more fun Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. when the fairgrounds open.  The livestock judging continues throughout the day Saturday, , and the Rodeo starts at 5:00.  Disney star Sabrina Carpenter is the featured entertainer that evening at 8:00.  Sunday’s schedule starts at 10 a.m. with the Rodeo at 4:00.  La Energia Nortena takes the stage at 7 p.m. Sunday.
