BRENAHM POLICE MAKE TWO ARRESTS TUESDAY

  

Brenham Police arrested two people in separate incidents Tuesday.

At 10:15 Tuesday morning, Officer Sierra Newell responded to the 700 block of East Germania Street in reference to a disturbance. Investigation revealed that Essence Deena Dixon, 17 of Brenham, was destroying property at the location and was using profane language causing a breach of the peace within public view. While Officers were trying to take Dixon into custody, Dixon began to resist them. Dixon was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct- Language and Resisting Arrest.

Tuesday afternoon at 1:30pm, Brenham police responded to the 2100 block of US Hwy 290 W in reference to a fight.  The investigation revealed that the suspect, Rachal Mata, 30 of Brenham, attacked a female subject who was sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle. Mata was arrested for assault causing bodily injury.
