BRENHAM ADMINISTRATOR RECEIVES STATE AWARD

A Brenham city administrator has received a prestigious award.

Lowell Ogle

Assistant City Manager Lowell Ogle has received the Gary Brown City Service Award from the Texas Public Power Association.

Ogle, who heads the city’s utilities department, received the honor which recognizes individuals and organizations for accomplishments and contributions to their communities, public power and the Power Association.

Ogle received the award recently, at the association’s annual meeting.

Nominees must display exceptional leadership, and provided significant contributions to public power locally and in Texas.

Ogle was also elected to the TPPA board of directors at the annual meeting. He had been appointed last October to fill an unexpired term on the board.

Ogle has served on the Washington County Chamber Board and currently serves on the Washington County Rotary Club board of directors.bren
