BRENHAM AND BELLVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENTS RESPOND TO FIRE CALL

  

A controlled burn Wednesday morning on the edge of the Washington/Austin County line had both the Brenham and Bellville Fire Departments responding.

At 9:21 a.m. Wednesday the Brenham firemen were called to assist the Bellville Fire Department with a reported grass fire at the corner of Sempronious Road and Church Road.  Upon arrival, they discovered it was a controlled burn and returned to the fire station.

This (Thursday) morning at 5:16 the Brenham Fire Department responded to 2017 FM 389 for a report of a fire.  However, when firemen arrived they could find no fire or smoke in the area of the Sandalwood Mobile Home Park, and returned to service.
