BRENHAM AND SURROUNDING AREAS READY FOR HALLOWEEN EVENTS

  

The Brenham and surrounding areas are preparing to provide safe, family-fun entertainment this Halloween.

The Prairie Hill Volunteer Fire Department, Prairie Hill 4-H, Bethlehem Lutheran Church and Independence Community Events will bring back “Fright Night in Independence on Saturday from 5 until 7pm at the old school house on the Independence Town Square just off of FM 390 in downtown Independence.

Rural, kid-friendly events with games, prizes, candy and food for the kids will be available.

 

Also, the Brenham Citizen’s Police Academy Alumni is hosting its annual Candy-Drive-Thru at Max Donuts from 6pm to 8pm.

At 7pm, Downtown Brenham is also hosting a Halloween party featuring a street dance, costume contest, kid’s activities, silent auction, and food trucks. Music will be provided by Jack Carr and his Blues Country Band and The Blue Grooves.

Then on Saturday morning 10am to 2pm,the Library at City Hall will host a goody bag event, where visitors can visits pets that are currently up for adoption and get a coupon for 50 percent off of adoption fees.

And in Bellville, you can celebrate Halloween by attending the Small Town Halloween in Bellville, which will feature trick of treating and Halloween Fun on the Square, presented by participating businesses.
