BRENHAM ANGLERS COMPETE IN STATE BASS ASSOC. TOURNAMENT
Saturday , Brenham Anglers competed in the Texas High School Bass Association's tournament on Lake Somerville.
Out of 212 teams that competed, Brenham Anglers had 5 teams place in the top 20%.
The team of Andrew Malloch and Logan Schwartz won 4th place with a 5 fish total of 14.76 pounds. Their boat captain was Carter Akers.
Other teams placing and winning prizes were Micah Contreras and Ian Cales in 8th place; Evan Aschenbeck and Reid Aschenbeck in 13th place; Landon Benson and Ben Bosse in 19th place; and Colton Jaster in 36th.
Overall, Brenham Anglers placed 3rd out of over 30 schools/organizations.

I was greatly surprised and very glad to see Ed yesterday as I passed KWHI on my daily travels through downtown Brenham.
Ed looked very good and I’m looking forward to hearing that pleasant voice again.
