BRENHAM ANGLERS QUALIFY 5 TEAMS FOR STATE TOURNAMENT

  

The Brenham High School Bass Fishing Team, The Brenham Anglers, had 9 teams competing this past weekend in the Regional tournament in Toledo Bend.  5 of the teams finished high enough in the tournament to qualify for the State Tournament on Lake Sam Rayburn May 19th and 20th.  The 5 teams and how they finished in last weekend’s competition are:

Travis Sallach/Bailey Fish and boat captain Doug Herms Placed 13th with 14.90 pounds.

Colton Jaster and boat captain Brent Sauble Placed 21st with 12.83 pounds.

Logan Schwartz/Andrew Malloch and boat captain Carter Akers Placed 23rd with 12.67 pounds.

Landon Benson/Ben Bosse and boat captain Andy Randermann Placed 28th with 12.28 pounds.

Tucker Saunders/Connor Himly and boat captain Jeff Holley  Placed 67th with 9.24 pounds.
