BRENHAM CHRISTMAS STROLL SET FOR DEC. 5-6
Preparations are underway for the annual Christmas Stroll and Lighted Parade, set for downtown Brenham Friday and Saturday, December 5th and 6th.
The parade kicks off the annual event Friday night the 5th at 6:00 with this year’s theme: “Unwrap the Magic of Christmas.”
The Lighted Parade has become one of Brenham’s largest parades.
Anyone interested in entering the parade has until Wednesday to enter. Entry forms may be found online at cityofbrenham.org. Click on “news” and “2014 Christmas Stroll”.
The Stroll will feature live entertainment including the popular Tuba Christmas. The Jingle Bell Market will be hosted at the Ant Street Inn Ballroom.
As always the Gingerbread Home Tour will benefit Habitat for Humanity.
There will be an ice skating rink set up at the intersection of Alamo and Douiglas, Friday from 4-to-9:00 p.m. and Satuday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Downtown businesses will also be open for Christmas Shopping.
