BRENHAM CITY COUNCIL MEETING THURSDAY

The Brenham City Council will look at a number of items dealing with the Police Department during their meeting this Thursday.  Council is scheduled to hear the 2017 annual report and crime analysis from the department.  They will also discuss the Racial Profiling Report for the Brenham Police Department. Council is also expected to accept a $25,000 donation to the department.

Also on Thursday’s agenda, council will consider purchasing replacing virtual server environment equipment for the city’s IT department. They will also look at a generator maintenance and inspection agreement and consider the purchase of a new trailer for the Sanitation Department.

City Council will look again at terminating the contract with GCP Contractors for the construction of the bathroom facilities at Fireman’s Park.  The item was tabled in executive session 2 weeks ago because the required 10 day notice of the action had not passed.
