BRENHAM CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE SUBDIVSION CHANGES

Brenham City Manager Terry Roberts says the Ralston Subdivision continues to grow and build but they need to make some changes.  Those changes are among the many items on the agenda at Thursday’s meeting of the City Council.

Roberts says as the subdivision continues towards completion the contractors need to make some improvements in order to make the streets acceptable to the city.

Roberts says the City Council also needs to approve the placement of stop signs in the subdivision.

Stylecraft Builders has been building this subdivision for over a year since the Brenham City Council first approved it.  Stylecraft is building 76 residence lots, in the area of East Stone, Blue Bell Road and Gun and Rod Road.

Roberts says the Council also needs to approve some minor name changes for two tax phase in agreements they recently granted.  The changes would affect GSL Contractors who are currently building PPE Plant in the Brenham Business Park and making some improvements to Tempur-Sealy International.

Roberts says the Council will have a workshop session  on the city’s participation in the Texas Department of Transportation ‘Turn Back Program.’  This is a program that involves the city’s involvement in TxDot Right of Ways within the city limits.

The Brenham City Council will meet Thursday at one at city hall.
