BRENHAM CLINIC OPENS NEW SPECIALTY CLINIC AND HONORS DOCTORS

  

The Brenham Clinic welcomed the future and saluted its 56 years of service to the community yesterday (Thursday), as  they officially opened  new Specialty Clinic, recognized  three new physicians and honored the doctors who have been with the clinic for over 30 years.

College Station  Medical Center CEO Tom Jackson says the new specialty clinic is a ‘destination point’ for the 24 rotating specialists who come in from Houston and College Station to serve the needs of Brenham and Washington County.

This clinic is across from the Brenham Clinic at Market and Academy.  The College Station Medical Center has been affiliated with the Brenham Clinic for five years.

Three new physicians at the Brenham Clinic were introduced during the specialty clinic’s official opening.  Dr. Heather Mikeska, from Brenham, Dr. Eric Alford of Fayetteville and Dr. Jennifer Jones of Boerne all joined the Brenham Clinic in the past year.

The ceremony also saluted five doctors who had served the clinic for over 30 years.  Dr. Donald Draehn, Dr. John McIntire, Dr. Bobby Marek, Dr. Kenneth Baker and Dr. Ken Landgraff were all awarded plaques for their years of service.
