BRENHAM CUBS FOOTBALL PLAYERS BURLGARIZED, VANDALIZED

  

It was not the kind of welcome the Brenham Cubs football players hoped for,  expected or deserved, when they returned home from Arlington after losing the state championship game to Aledo Saturday night. 

When the team bus rolled into the high school parking lot late Saturday night they found 11 of their vehicles had been burglarized.

The players found their windows smashed and numerous items taken.

Reports say that that the car of All State running back Ernest Patterson was one of the vehicles hit.  His car was found on blocks with the windows broken.  Further reports say that radios, tires, rims, were stolen.

Cpl Chris Jackson of the Brenham police department says they are investigating and says they are reviewing the videos recorded on the surveillance cameras in the parking lot.

Police are asking for your help.  If you have any information on this crime call 337 7337, or Crime Stoppers at 836 TIPS, (8477).  John Deans of Crime Stoppers says that in this case, they are offeringsa thoudandf dollar a head reward for theives and vandals.

  1. I have a feeling that the scum responsible for this has fellow scum friends that would have no qualms about turning their scum friends in for that scum reward money.
