BRENHAM F.D. EXTINGUISHES FIRE AT BRENHAM NURSING AND REHAB
The Brenham Fire Department was dispatched to Brenham Nursing and Rehab Thursday after a fire broke out in the laundry room.
According to the fire department, the call came in just after 9:30 a.m. Firefighters arrived on the scene to find light smoke coming from the laundry room.
The fire department used a hose line to extinguish a basket of clothes that was under a shelf that caught fire- causing the sprinkler system to activate.
The damage was contained to the laundry room. No occupants were injured during the fire.
