BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT CALLED TO JR. HIGH SCHOOL

  

The Brenham Fire Department was dispatched to the Junior High School Thursday afternoon at 2:30.  School personnel had detected a burnt smell in a portable building adjacent to the practice gym.  Brenham firemen investigated and determined the source of the smell was a florescent light ballast.  The portable building was turned over to BISD maintenance personnel.  The students and the main building at the Junior High School were unaffected.
