BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT MAKES SINGLE MINOR CALL WEDNESDAY
The Brenham Fire Department reports only a single, minor fire call on Wednesday.
At 8:26 Wednesday morning, firemen responded to 507 West Stone Street for a report of a smoke alarm sounding. Upon arrival they found that the batteries in the smoke detector were bad. There was no fire, and firemen replaced the batteries and returned to service.
