BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT

  

On Tuesday around 12:21pm, The Brenham Fire Department responded to 406 Cottonwood St., Brenham Rest Home, for an automatic fire alarm.

Upon arrival and after investigation, the fire department found that water from the air condition unit had leaked into the alarm panel causing the alarm to malfunction.

BFD advised facility personnel to have the alarm company check out the alarm panel.

Also on Tuesday aroud 4:22 pm, the Brenham Fire Department  responded to 2605 Schulte Blvd., Hampton Inn, for an automatic fire alarm.

While en route BFD was canceled by the alarm company because there was a work crew on location that was creating dust that set off the alarm.  There was no emergency.
