BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT

  

On Sunday around 6:40pm, the BFD responded to US HWY 290 and Old Burton Road for a traffic accident with entrapment.

BFD arrived and found a small SUV in the median with one person trapped inside.

Fire Department units used extrication equipment to free the victim, who was taken to Scott and White Hospital in Brenham.

On Saturday at around at little after noon, the Brenham Fire Department responded to 1106 S Chappell Hill St for a reported car fire. BFD arrived and found a pick-up with smoke coming from the cab area. FD found a fuse box inside the truck had shorted out causing smoke.

Also on Saturday around 8:30pm, the BFD responded to 801 W Jefferson for an Automatic Alarm. The alarm was coming from a laundry room and FD couldn’t find any source of smoke. The alarm was reset.
