BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT

  

The Brenham Fire Department responded to two calls in the past twenty-four hours.

Around 4:15, the Brenham Fire Department responded to the 300 block of W. Third for a Fire Alarm. Upon location found that a child had pulled a Fire Pull Box by accident. No action was needed by the BFD.

Then around 6:40pm, fire department units responded to the 2600 block of Twisted Oak for a House Fire. Upon arrival, the BFD found a malfunctioning electric oven causing sparks and smoke inside the residents.

Firefighters closed the oven door to displace oxygen to the burning element, removed it from the wall and unplugged the unit.

BFD checked for any extension and none was found.
