BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT

  

On Wednesday around 6:45am the Brenham Fire Department responded to 3201 S. Bluebell Rd. for an automatic fire alarm.  Upon arrival and after investigation, BFD determined that the company was having alarm problems.

Also on Wednesday around 4:450m, the BFD responded to 400 E. Sayles St., Brenham Rehabilitation Center, for an automatic fire alarm.  Upon arrival and after investigation, BFD determined that workers were sanding in the building and set off the alarm.

Thursday morning a little after midnight, the BFD responded to 1202 S. Day St. for a possible structure fire.  Upon arrival and after investigation, BFD found that the care-taker of the home was boiling a cleaning product in a pot on the stove and burned the product causing light smoke throughout the home.  BFD ventilated the home and did not find any fire.
