Brenham Fire Department Report

  

Monday at 5:28am, The Brenham Fire Department responded to the intersection of US Highway 290 W. & Upshaw Rd. for a report of a traffic accident with someone possibly trapped in the vehicle. Upon arrival, the Fire Department units found a 2 vehicle crash with one deceased victim in one of the vehicles.

Fire Department units used hydraulic tools to remove the door and the roof to remove the victim.  FD units stood by with lighting to assist with investigation.

Also on Monday, the BFD responded to 4001 State Highway 36 S., Brenham State Supported Living Center, for an automatic fire alarm.  While en route FD units were cancel by the alarm company.  Apparently a client had accidently activated a pull station causing the alarm to sound.  There was no emergency.
