BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT
On Wednesday just after 3:30pm, the Brenham Fire Department responded to 400 E. Sayles St. Brenham Rehab and Nursing for an automatic fire alarm.
After an investigation, the BFD found that the alarm company was on location testing the alarm system and there was no emergency.
Also on Wedneday just after 7pm the Brenham Fire Department along with Berlin FD for Mutual Aid responded to 2380 US Highway 290 W. for a report of a grass fire.
Upon arrival BFD found a pile of brush burning near some trailer houses.
BFD extinguished the fire while Berlin supplied water.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
