BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT
The Brenham Fire Department responded to two calls in the past 24 hours.
Around 6:45 am Thursday, the BFD responded to the 1700 block of Tom Green for a fire alarm.
Upon arrival there were no audible or visual alarms, and no signs of smoke or fire.
Around 9:00 am, fire department units responded to the 700 block of Medical Parkway for a building fire, but the call was downgraded while in route, with a caller advising that the steam set off the detector.
Fire department units arrived at the location to confirm there was no smoke or fire.
