BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO CALLS FRIDAY
The Brenham Fire Department made a couple of runs early Friday afternoon to locations on the west side of Brenham.
At 12:37 p.m. Friday firemen were dispatched to 5375 Highway 290 West for a possible vehicle crash with entrapment. When they arrived they found the occupants out of the vehicle, and no fluids spilled on the roadway.
At 1:08 p.m. Friday the Brenham Fire Department was called to 1212 West Jefferson Street for a reported vehicle fire. Upon arrival they found a lawn mower on fire. A hand line and tank water were used to extinguish the blaze. No one was injured, and the only damage was to the lawn mower.
