BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO ELECTRICAL ARCING AT FAIRGROUNDS

  

The Brenham Fire Department was dispatched for to the Washington County Fairgrounds on Tuesday for a report of electrical arcing on a light pole.

Brenham Fire Department responders arrived on the scene at approximately 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday night and determined a light for the Washington County Fairgrounds parking lot was the source of the arcing.

The City of Brenham Electric Department arrived and pulled the transformer fuse until the light could be safely repaired the next day.
