BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO SMOKE INVESTIGATION

  

Brenham Fire department responded to two calls on Saturday.

The department first responded to 2607 36 South for a smoke investigation at Taco Bell at 6:37am. The Fire Department found two electrical cords plugged into a wall outlet that had melted. The power was shut off to the outlet until repairs were made. No other damages were reported to the building.

Then at 7:12pm the department responded to a residential structure fire. The fire had been put out by the time the fire department arrived. It was determined that the fire had been confined to the vent fan only and bathroom ceiling. Fans were then used to remove smoke from the residence.
