BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT WEDNESDAY REPORT
The Brenham Fire Department on Wednesday at around 5:03pm responded to 2475 S. Chappell Hill St. for a possible structure fire inside an apartment. Upon arrival and after investigation BFD determined that the resident had just burned a pot of beans while cooking on the stove.
BFD used fans to remove light smoke from the apartment. There was no damage to the apartment and no one was injured.
Also on Wednesday at around 9:21 pm, the Brenham Fire responded to 1901 Longwood Dr. for an automatic fire alarm. Upon arrival and after investigation BFD determined that the alarm activated due to a malfunction.
The plant personnel were advised to have the alarm company service the system.
